The people behind Rockwall Finance
Rockwall Finance is run by its two co-founders, Rowan Edwards and Ari Freund, based in Perth, Western Australia. Two former bankers means your deal is structured the way the person approving it will read it.
Rowan Edwards
Co-founder
Rowan spent years in business banking at one of Australia's major banks, working across SME lending and commercial relationship management. Sitting on the lender's side of the desk taught him how banks really make decisions and what it takes to get a deal approved, knowledge he now puts to work for clients across commercial, business and home finance.
What he enjoys most is backing people with big plans, partnering with ambitious businesses and aspirational individuals, from commercial owners to families buying their first or next home. Whatever the deal, clients get straight answers, clear structure and advice built for where they're heading, not just the next approval.
Outside of work, Rowan enjoys the footy and follows the Fremantle Dockers, weekends are spent playing golf or a game of tennis, and he takes any excuse to get out of the city with a fishing rod and a swag.

Ari Freund
Co-founder
Ari brings over 10 years of experience across banking and finance, with a specialist focus on professional services. This background has given him a strong understanding of how businesses are financed at every stage, and the commercial judgement to structure solutions even when circumstances are complex. In his most recent role as a senior banker at National Australia Bank, he advised some of Perth's leading professional services firms.
What he enjoys most is executing and providing solutions to complex problems for clients, partnering with business owners and professionals on everything from M&A transactions, succession planning and management buyouts, through to investment lending, helping them take the next step with the right finance behind them.
Outside of work, Ari is a self-confessed West Coast Eagles tragic who can usually be found on the padel court, or at the beach or park with his dog.

Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance), University of Melbourne
Master of Applied Finance, University of Western Australia

How we work
What to expect from every engagement
Your goals drive the strategy
Before looking at a single lender or loan structure, the conversation starts with what you're building. Your goals are yours. The job is to understand them clearly enough to build a strategy around them and take on the credit journey on your behalf.
Lender selection is strategy
Different lenders have different appetites, policies and pricing. Choosing the right lender for your specific deal structure is half the work, and it's work most brokers skip. Our guide to choosing a finance broker in Perth explains what to look for.
Strategy is what's missing
With major banks, specialist lenders and a broad second and third tier market, very few deals are truly unfundable. What most businesses are missing isn't a willing lender. It's clarity on where the business is going and a credit story with a strong foundation.
Through to settlement and beyond
Approval is a milestone, not the finish line. Engaged through conditions, valuations, legal and drawdown, and staying in touch well beyond settlement. Your next deal starts from where this one ends.

Tell me about the deal or where your business is heading. I'll tell you whether it's fundable, how I'd structure it, and which lender I'd go to. No obligation. Just a straight conversation.
